STRLDi — PREPARATION STRUCTURE (COUNTRY → REGION → GLOBAL FLOW)

What we are building is:

👉 a country-entry method that must travel across countries

1. CORE PRINCIPLE — THE WORK DOES NOT BELONG TO A COUNTRY

This must anchor everything.

The work:
▪️ Is developed through a country
▪️ But is not confined to it

👉 Botswana is the first landing ground — not the destination

2. THREE-LAYER FLOW (ALWAYS RUNNING TOGETHER)

We should always see work in three simultaneous layers:

LAYER 1 — COUNTRY (DEEP WORK)

(e.g. Botswana)

Objective:
👉 Land the work properly

Focus:
▪️ Presidency alignment
▪️ Ministries (productive sectors)
▪️ National case development
▪️ Community linkage

👉 This is where depth is built

LAYER 2 — REGION (SPREAD THROUGH RECOGNITION)

(SADC and beyond)

Objective:
👉 Allow the work to travel through visible results

Focus:
▪️ Quiet sharing with:

  • SADC structures
  • Regional ministries
  • Think tanks / universities

▪️ Invitations (not outreach):
👉 “Come see what is happening”

👉 This is where credibility spreads

LAYER 3 — GLOBAL (POSITIONING & DEMAND)

Objective:
👉 Position STRLDi as a structural capability, not a service

Focus:
▪️ World Bank / AfDB / UN-type spaces
▪️ Academic and policy platforms
▪️ International leadership circles

👉 This is where demand forms

3. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR TASK STRUCTURE

Rea’s work must now be structured across all three layers — even at early stage.

TRACK 1 — COUNTRY (ACTIVE)

Continue as planned:

▪️ Ndaba / Presidency pathway
▪️ Local engagements
▪️ Study landing

TRACK 2 — REGION (LIGHT TOUCH, EARLY SEEDING)

Tasks

▪️ Map 3–5 priority countries:

  • Namibia
  • South Africa
  • Zambia
  • Tanzania
  • Kenya

▪️ Identify:

  • Equivalent “Ndaba-level” individuals
  • Quiet connectors

▪️ Begin:

  • Light sharing (not pitching)
  • Relationship warming

TRACK 3 — GLOBAL (POSITIONING, NOT ENGAGEMENT YET)

Tasks

▪️ Prepare:

  • STRLDi narrative (tight)
  • Case study (Botswana as anchor)

▪️ Identify:

  • Entry points:
    • World Bank
    • African Development Bank
    • United Nations Development Programme

▪️ No outreach yet — only preparation

4. TEAM PREPARATION (UPDATED)

Each person must now be seen across layers:

Rea

▪️ Country: coordination
▪️ Region: early mapping
▪️ Global: tracking positioning

You

▪️ Country: structural lead
▪️ Region: narrative carrier
▪️ Global: thought leadership

Andre

▪️ Regional bridge (once aligned)

Gola

▪️ Structural scaling (region/global)

Mabua Mabua

▪️ Public-private sectors bridge (once aligned)

Nancy

▪️ Data systems (critical for scaling across countries)

Bernice

▪️ Delivery stabilisation (replicable model across countries)

5. CRITICAL SHIFT IN MINDSET

This is where many fail.

Do NOT think:

❌ “Let’s succeed in Botswana first, then expand”

❌ “We are seeking approval”

Instead:

👉 Build Botswana as a live case within a regional and global frame

👉 We do so, by creating KRAs for each country.

6. SEQUENCE OF MOVEMENT (EXPANDED)

Stage 1 — Botswana (Landing)

Deep structural work

Stage 2 — Regional Visibility

Countries begin watching

Stage 3 — Regional Entry Points

Selective engagements

Stage 4 — Global Recognition

Case study travels

Stage 5 — Demand Formation

Countries seek STRLDi

7. WHAT YOU MUST PROTECT

❌ Do not dilute the work for scale
❌ Do not rush regional expansion
❌ Do not present prematurely

👉 Depth first. Visibility follows.

FINAL LINE

You are not building a Botswana solution.

You are:

👉 establishing a replicable structure for how countries learn, see, and shift.

TABLE 1 — EXTERNAL POSITIONING & FLOW (COUNTRY → REGION → GLOBAL)

LayerObjectiveWhat Must Be PreparedHow It MovesWhat to Avoid
Country (e.g. Botswana)Land the work deeply and correctly▪️ Presidency alignment pathway (Ndaba → Presidency)
▪️ Leadership framing (not training)
▪️ Case study (unemployment)
▪️ Ministry-level entry (productive sectors)
▪️ Community linkage (later stage)
▪️ Quiet, deliberate placement
▪️ Conversations, not pitching
▪️ Structural seeing before action
❌ Broad circulation
❌ Premature proposals
❌ Forcing uptake
Region (SADC & beyond)Allow work to spread through recognition▪️ Identify 3–5 priority countries
▪️ Map equivalent leadership entry points
▪️ Build quiet connectors
▪️ Prepare Botswana as live case
▪️ Invitations, not outreach
▪️ “Come see what is happening”
▪️ Relationship-first movement
❌ Scaling too early
❌ Copy-paste expansion
❌ Over-positioning
Global (Institutions & Thought Leadership)Position STRLDi as structural capability▪️ Tight STRLDi narrative
▪️ Botswana case as anchor
▪️ Engagement framing for institutions
▪️ Entry readiness (not yet outreach)
▪️ Visibility through credibility
▪️ Case travels before you do
▪️ Demand forms naturally
❌ Early engagement
❌ Over-explaining
❌ Positioning as consultancy

TABLE 2 — INTERNAL PREPARATION & EXECUTION STRUCTURE (SEQUENCED)

PHASE 0 — BRIDGE & CONTINUITY (MONTH 0–2)

Keep the work alive while structure forms

ComponentObjectiveWhat Must Be DoneNotes / Discipline
Minimum Operating BaseSustain core activity▪️ Define essential monthly needs
▪️ Reduce to minimum viable costs
👉 Survival is structured, not reactive
Bridge Support (Relationship-based)Short-term financial continuity▪️ Identify 2–5 supporters
▪️ Small monthly contributions
▪️ Time-bound (6-9 months) at $1,000 per full-time employee (4 hours per day in the first 3 months and scaled to 8 hours thereafter and are achieving KRAs)
❌ Not formal fundraising
👉 Quiet, relational
Micro-Income ActivationGenerate immediate cash flow▪️ Small paid sessions
▪️ Advisory conversations
▪️ Targeted briefings
👉 Must align with core work
Shared Load Across TeamAvoid founder overload▪️ Rea supports outreach
▪️ Others contribute where possible
▪️ Use available resources collectively
👉 Work begins to be held by system
Signal Visibility (Low-intensity)Keep work in motion▪️ Articles
▪️ Selective sharing
▪️ Quiet visibility
❌ No mass marketing
Time-Bound DisciplinePrevent drift▪️ Define 6-9 months at $1,000 per full-time employee bridge window
▪️ Target early engagements forming
👉 Movement must follow

WHY THIS IS CRITICAL

Without Phase 0:

👉 The rest of Table 2 becomes theoretical

With Phase 0:

👉 The work actually survives long enough to take shape

HOW TABLE 2 READS (TOP LINE)

Phase 0 — Bridge & Continuity (Month 0–2)

Phase 1 — Foundational Coherence

Phase 2 — Structural Capability Build

Phase 3 — National Structure Formation

Phase 4 — Financial Structuring

PHASE 1 — FOUNDATIONAL COHERENCE (WEEKS 0–4)

Before movement scales — ensure the work holds

ComponentObjectiveWhat Must Be Built / DoneNotes / Discipline
Weekly Operating Rhythm (You + Rea)Establish clarity and direction▪️ Weekly review structure
▪️ Engagement tracking
▪️ Signal vs noise filtering
▪️ Action prioritization
👉 This is the control centre
Discipline Strengthening (The Fifth Discipline)Ensure integrity of the work▪️ Refresh on 5 Disciplines
▪️ Archetypes + Onion sequencing
▪️ BOT practice
▪️ Dialogue discipline
❌ No discipline = distortion
Operational Infrastructure (Platform)Enable coordination and continuity▪️ Set up M365 (or equivalent)
▪️ Folder structures
▪️ Version control
▪️ Access protocols
👉 Keep simple, usable
Team Formation & Role EmergenceAllow structure to begin forming▪️ Observe behaviours
▪️ Light anchoring (Rea, Bernice, etc.)
▪️ No formal roles yet
👉 Let the work reveal placement

PHASE 2 — STRUCTURAL CAPABILITY BUILD (WEEKS 4–12)

Prepare the system to hold real work

ComponentObjectiveWhat Must Be Built / DoneNotes / Discipline
Research Team StabilisationAnchor work in data▪️ Define data support roles
▪️ Establish data collection protocols
▪️ Align with sector studies
👉 This anchors credibility
AI-Enabled Knowledge SystemOrganise and analyse information▪️ Central repository
▪️ AI-assisted tagging
▪️ Retrieval systems
▪️ Pattern support
👉 AI supports, not decides
Engagement & Participant Tracking SystemsTrack learning and readiness▪️ Attendance by module
▪️ Completion tracking
▪️ Progression mapping
👉 Moves beyond “attendance”
BOT Tracking (Behaviour Over Time)Measure real change▪️ Define key indicators
▪️ Build tracking templates
▪️ Link to interventions
👉 Evidence system begins here

PHASE 3 — NATIONAL STRUCTURE FORMATION (MONTHS 3–6)

Translate capability into country-level movement

ComponentObjectiveWhat Must Be Built / DoneNotes / Discipline
National Capability MappingAlign people to system roles▪️ Map participants to sectors
▪️ Identify capability gaps
▪️ Position individuals into roles
👉 This becomes national infrastructure
Case Study Development (Live)Capture real system movement▪️ Document decisions & shifts
▪️ Track outcomes
▪️ Build narrative in real time
👉 Not retrospective
Ongoing Marketing (Substance-led)Build recognition through reality▪️ Articles from lived work
▪️ Showcase shifts
▪️ Build narrative credibility
❌ No hype, no noise

PHASE 4 — FINANCIAL & ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURING (MONTHS 3–6, PARALLEL)

Stabilise the organisation as work begins to generate income

ComponentObjectiveWhat Must Be Built / DoneNotes / Discipline
Funding & Sponsorship PathwayProvide early-stage stability▪️ Identify sponsors
▪️ Align ask to structural work
▪️ Position as impact, not charity
👉 Bridge, not dependency
Personnel Payment Structure (KRA-based)Enable fair, scalable remuneration▪️ KRA-linked payment model
▪️ Market testing (regional/global)
▪️ Stage-based progression
❌ No fixed salaries upfront
👉 Income → remuneration

HOW TO READ THIS SEQUENCE

This is critical:

👉 You cannot jump phases without weakening the structure

If you skip Phase 1

→ Confusion, misalignment

If you skip Phase 2

→ No data, no credibility

If you skip Phase 3

→ No national impact

If you skip Phase 4

→ Financial strain, collapse

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE TEAM (RIGHT NOW)

You are here:

👉 Phase 1 → early Phase 2 transition

So your focus should be:

▪️ Tight weekly rhythm
▪️ Discipline alignment
▪️ Platform setup
▪️ Early research structuring

NOT:

❌ Payment structures
❌ Scaling
❌ Heavy external positioning
